Primerior is a Chrome Extension designed to help users collect, organize, and manage personal knowledge directly from the browser. The extension allows saving text, links, and images into structured "Books", supports offline data access, and optimizes workflows for content creators and developers.

1. Data Collection

Primerior does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to our own servers for commercial purposes.

All data is processed locally within your browser. If you choose to use the synchronization feature, your data is securely stored in your own Google Drive/Account infrastructure via Google Sign-In.

2. Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions necessary to function properly. These permissions are used solely to provide the advertised features:

Storage

We use local storage to save your personal settings (theme, language), application state, and cache data (books, notes). This ensures high performance and allows the extension to function immediately, even when offline.

ActiveTab

We use activeTab to automatically retrieve the Title and URL of the web page you are currently viewing when you create a new "Book" or "Note". This saves you from having to copy and paste source information manually.

ContextMenus

We use contextMenus to add a "Add to Primerior" option to your right-click menu. This allows you to highlight text on a webpage and quickly save it to your library without opening the extension popup.

SidePanel

We use the sidePanel permission to open the extension in a persistent sidebar alongside your web content. This allows for seamless multitasking, letting you reference your saved notes and collections without constantly switching tabs or reopening the popup.

3. Data Usage

Your data belongs to you.

• No user data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties by us.
• Your synced data is handled directly between your browser and Google's secure servers.

4. Third-party Services

Primerior does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We rely on Google OAuth 2.0 strictly for authentication and data synchronization purposes.

5. User Control

You grant permissions explicitly when installing the extension. You can remove the extension at any time to stop all local data processing. You can also revoke the extension's access to your Google Account via your Google Account Permissions page.
